Paola is to 2 km far from the roadside and gathers a great number of inhabitants.
Just after the entry on left bank lies the old factory of coffee transformation. After this factory you can found the public school where the children of the tribe and these of Congouma - Tegenpaïk are educated.
The road which is going out to the tribe offers a beautiful sight on the mountains which invite you to pleasant stroll. Paola is in the center of this natural circus, four clans lay out each one of a traditionnal house.
There are many houses bordering, on few kilometers, the Thiem river in a well organized and accessible traditionnal place. Its population lives around the place, close to the temple where the worship is celebrated each Sunday morning, at 10 h.
On Wednesday the women devote themselves to craft industry in the common house. Animation with cricket, volleyball, football and game of bowls are organized for everyone.
People live from crops of taros, manioc, bananas, sugar, sweet potatos, but also of hunting and fishing.
This tribe is known for its cordial reception.
Pedestrian activities: the guide Paul proposes excursions of 5 or 6 hours with botanical discoveries, bath in the Warri falls or the Thiem river. Excursion start at 7 am.
