Located at 26 km of the village of Touho in the south, the road first leads to the bridge of Tiwaka, and on the left is located a place called Kôoba.

Pombei is a 12 km from the transversal road Tiwaka/Kone. The provincial road carrying out to the tribe offers a splendid valley all in greenery, a large river named Tiwaka and dwellings on right bank. Pombéï includes many houses close to the Common House, and some others border the river.

Pombeï is the only tribe of Touho not having electricity. People use solar panels.

Besides Pombeï makes efforts to accomodate tourists and much efforts are in particular provided on strolls pedestrian on the heights of Pombei towards an old crash landing.

The lovers of stroll will have the possibilitie of excursions accessible to the families or the very good walkers with an experienced guide.

You will discover fauna and flora, an ancestral dugout and the wreck of an American Dakota.

While going along the river, you can admire splendid rocks.
