At 12 kilometers of the village, in the north, Vieux Touho is just after the beach of Tianite. This tribe offers a nice spectacle with its mangrove and its rock which shelters Holy Vierge. You will discover the traditional culture in the content of the valley with aspects of the life in tribe, where tales and kanak legends are told.

Vieux Touho comprises many houses throughout the road, old dwellings made of sheet as well as a very beautiful vault located at the edge of the provinciale road. This tribe is known for its crop of coffee-trees. Its inhabitants live from there food crops, market-gardening, hunting, and fishings in river. On sundays after the mass, they meet together for leisures time like football, games of bowls and volley ball.
